Terms of Service

The rules for using SmartGEO, connecting websites, reviewing recommendations, and publishing approved changes.

Last updated: June 4, 2026

These terms define the rules for using SmartGEO, connecting integrations, reviewing recommendations, and approving controlled publishing workflows.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of SmartGEO, also operated as geo4seo, provided by Galylio. By creating an account, connecting a website, requesting a demo, or using the service, you agree to these terms.

If you use SmartGEO for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The service

SmartGEO provides SEO and GEO website audits, recommendation scoring, Google Search Console synchronization, CMS integration, approval workflows, controlled publishing, rollback support, and related dashboards.

SmartGEO is a decision-support and controlled workflow platform. It does not guarantee search rankings, traffic, revenue, rich results, AI citations, or any specific SEO outcome.

3. Accounts and access

You must provide accurate account information, keep login credentials secure, and promptly revoke access for users who should no longer use the service.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring that connected websites, Search Console properties, and CMS accounts are authorized for use with SmartGEO.

4. Customer data and permissions

You retain ownership of your websites, data, content, Search Console data, CMS resources, and business information. You grant SmartGEO the rights needed to process that data to provide the service.

You must not connect websites, CMS accounts, Search Console properties, or data sources unless you have the right to do so.

5. Integrations

Third-party integrations such as Google Search Console, WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, PrestaShop, or other CMS systems are subject to the third party's own terms and technical limits.

You are responsible for configuring WAF, Cloudflare, hosting, CMS permissions, application passwords, OAuth access, and companion plugins so SmartGEO can perform the requested workflow.

6. Publishing and rollback

SmartGEO is designed to keep CMS publication controlled. A change should only be publishable after the required recommendation state, approval, preview, CMS mapping, safety checks, and write policy are satisfied.

You are responsible for reviewing previews and approving changes before publication. Rollback is designed to restore a stored prior value, but rollback success can depend on the CMS, plugin, hosting, permissions, and intervening manual edits.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use SmartGEO to attack systems, scrape unlawfully, bypass access controls, overload websites, publish unlawful content, infringe intellectual property, or violate privacy, security, or platform rules.

We may throttle, suspend, or terminate access if use threatens the service, other users, third-party systems, or legal compliance.

8. Plans, trials, and billing

Plans, limits, trials, pricing, billing cycles, and included features may vary by account or agreement. Public pricing is indicative unless confirmed in an order form or written agreement.

Free or trial access may be limited, modified, or discontinued. Paid features may require separate billing terms before activation.

9. Confidentiality

Each party may receive confidential business, technical, security, or product information. The receiving party must protect confidential information using reasonable care and use it only for the permitted purpose.

10. Intellectual property

SmartGEO, geo4seo, the SaaS software, dashboards, recommendation engine, workflows, designs, documentation, and product logic are owned by Galylio or its licensors.

The WordPress companion plugin may be licensed separately under the license stated in its own plugin files. That plugin license does not open-source the SmartGEO SaaS backend, frontend, infrastructure, recommendation logic, or proprietary documentation.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis except where a separate written agreement says otherwise. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recommendations will produce any particular SEO or business result.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Galylio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost rankings, lost traffic, or loss of data.

Any liability that cannot be excluded will be limited to the amount permitted by applicable law or the written agreement between the parties.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using SmartGEO at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security risk, non-payment, violation of these terms, or legal requirement.

After termination, we may delete or retain data according to our Privacy Policy, backup cycles, legal obligations, and any written agreement.

14. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, notifying affected users.
